This is a list of Yugoslavian/Serbian large Oak Leaf Pattern uniform items.
I have written this to decipher the supposed "M89" and "M93" uniform designations often mentioned. It is a work in progress.
These items were used by:
- Yugoslavia (SFR) 1989-91
- Serbia and Montenegro (FRY) 1992-2006
- Serbia 2006 onwards
- Serbian Krajina 1991-95
- Srpska Republic (BPC: Army of Republika Srpska) 1992-2003
- Bosnia and Herzegovina 1997 onwards
- and probably Kosovo (TBC).
The items can be identified pattern number which is designated as "SNO" (Latin), "CHO" (Cyrillic), "SORS" or "COPC" on tags.
|Item||SNO/CHO/SORS/COPC designation||Years produced||Proposed M- designation||Comments|
|Shirt||7887||1991 1992 1993 1994 1998 1999 2000 2002 2003 2004 2010||M89|
|Jacket||NIL||1992 1996||M89||Similar construction to 8257|
|Jacket||M93 8565||2002 2011||M93|
|Trousers||M-93 8568||1999 2000||M93|
|Flight or AFV Trousers||4394||1994||NIL|
So far I think M89 and M93 should only be used to designate standard uniforms (ie shirt, jacket, trousers).
